801XR Network Cable Tracker & POE Tester

801XR Network Cable Tracker & POE Tester Highlights

• Versatile Cable Testing: This type of device is designed to test a variety of common network and telephone cables, including RJ11 and RJ45 connectors, as well as UTP cables. It helps identify wiring faults and continuity.
• Line Tracing Functionality: Cable trackers are essential for locating specific cables within a bundle or tracing their path through walls and conduits. This is achieved by emitting a tone and using a receiver to detect it.
• POE Live Testing Capability: Some models offer Power over Ethernet (PoE) live testing, allowing users to verify if PoE is being supplied to network devices without needing to disconnect power. This is crucial for network installations.
• Built-in Backlight: A backlight on the display is a common feature that enhances usability in low-light conditions, making it easier to read measurements and status indicators during cable testing.
