Behringer C-2 Condenser Microphone

Behringer C-2 Condenser Microphone Highlights

• True Condenser Design: The Behringer C-2 is a true condenser microphone, offering a more sensitive and detailed sound capture compared to electret condenser or dynamic microphones. This makes it suitable for capturing subtle nuances in vocals and instruments.
• Cardioid Polar Pattern: Featuring a cardioid polar pattern, the C-2 primarily picks up sound from the front while rejecting sound from the sides and rear. This helps to minimize background noise and feedback in live or untreated recording environments.
• Low Noise FET Preamplifier: Equipped with a low-noise Field-Effect Transistor (FET) preamplifier, the C-2 aims to provide a clean signal path with minimal self-noise. This is crucial for achieving clear recordings, especially at lower signal levels.
• Requires Phantom Power: As a true condenser microphone, the Behringer C-2 requires 48V phantom power to operate. This is typically supplied by a mixing console, audio interface, or a dedicated phantom power supply.
• Durable Construction: The C-2 is built with a robust metal housing, designed to withstand the rigors of regular use in studio or live settings. This ensures reliability and longevity for the microphone.
