Behringer Ultra-DI DI400P Passive DI Box

Behringer Ultra-DI DI400P Passive DI Box Highlights

• Passive DI Design: This is a passive DI box, meaning it does not require phantom power or batteries to operate. It relies on transformers to convert unbalanced instrument signals to balanced microphone-level signals.
• Signal Isolation: DI boxes like this are crucial for isolating audio signals, preventing ground loops and hum. This helps to achieve a cleaner, noise-free signal path from your instrument to the mixer.
• Transformer-Based: It utilizes transformers for signal conversion, which can also provide a slight impedance matching benefit and contribute to the overall sound character.
• Durable Build: Behringer products are generally built to withstand the rigors of live sound and studio use, featuring robust enclosures to protect internal components.
• Ground Lift Switch: Features a ground lift switch to help eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops, a common issue in live sound setups.
