DBX 231/231sub 2 Series Graphic Equalizer

DBX 231/231sub 2 Series Graphic Equalizer Highlights

• Dual 31-Band Equalization: The DBX 231 offers two independent 31-band graphic equalizers. This allows for precise control over the frequency spectrum in stereo applications or for independent processing of two separate audio signals.
• Selectable EQ Bandwidth: Features a selectable ±6dB or ±12dB equalization range. This provides flexibility to make subtle tonal adjustments or more drastic frequency shaping depending on the mixing or mastering needs.
• Low-Noise Operational Amplifiers: Utilizes low-noise operational amplifiers for superior audio performance. This ensures a clean signal path with minimal unwanted noise, crucial for professional audio applications.
• Constant Q Design: Employs a constant Q design, meaning that the bandwidth of each filter remains consistent regardless of the amount of boost or cut applied. This results in predictable and musical equalization.
• EQ Bypass Switch: Includes an EQ bypass switch for easy comparison of the processed and unprocessed signal. This is essential for critical listening and verifying the impact of equalization adjustments.
• Subwoofer Output: The 'sub' designation indicates a version with a dedicated low-pass filter and output for subwoofers. This allows for seamless integration of a subwoofer into a stereo system.
