DBX 234xs Dual Channel Crossover Highlights
- Professional Crossover Design: The DBX 234xs is a stereo 2-way/mono 3-way crossover designed for professional audio applications. It allows for precise frequency division to optimize speaker performance.
- Independent Level Controls: Each output band features its own level control, allowing for precise gain adjustments. This ensures balanced sound across all speaker drivers.
- Switchable +/- 6dB Boost/Cut: The unit offers switchable +/- 6dB or +/- 12dB boost/cut on each output. This provides flexibility for fine-tuning speaker response to room acoustics.
- Phase Inversion Switches: Each output has a phase inversion switch to correct for speaker wiring issues. This helps ensure proper time alignment and bass response.
- Low Frequency Summing: The crossover includes a low-frequency summing output (Subwoofer mode). This is useful for directing low-end frequencies to a dedicated subwoofer.
Description
• Professional dual-channel crossover with Linkwitz-Riley 24dB/octave filters for precise frequency separation. • Independent output gain controls allow for accurate level matching between drivers. • Features a 40 Hz low-cut filter to remove unwanted sub-bass frequencies and protect speakers. • Optional mono summing of the low-frequency output is ideal for subwoofer integration. • Output phase inversion helps correct for phase cancellations in multi-way systems. • High-quality XLR inputs and outputs ensure reliable, low-noise signal transfer. • Solid 'click' controls provide tactile feedback and durability for frequent adjustments.
