Wellness Barista & Drink Architect The Role: You are the pulse behind the bar. You don't just pull espresso or ladle boba pearls—you understand flavor balances, clean wellness ingredients, and how to craft beverages that look and taste exceptional under rush-hour pressure. Core Responsibilities: Craft Signature Drinks: Prepare premium boba teas, functional herbal tonics, wellness elixirs, and espresso-based beverages to exact recipes and presentation standards. Master Pearl & Prep Chemistry: Cook fresh boba batches, prep house syrups, brew botanical infusions, and maintain proper holding temperatures and textures throughout service. Educate & Recommend: Guide guests through the menu—confidently explaining ingredient benefits (functional herbs, reduced sugars, plant bases) with warmth and local flair. Calibrate & Maintain Gear: Dial in grinders, steam wands, sealing machines, and blenders daily; troubleshoot basic bar equipment on the fly. | Front desk staff: Check guests in/out, handle reservations, answer questions, and resolve guest concerns. Housekeeping staff: Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas, replace supplies, and report maintenance issues. Floor Support & Barback Runs: Restock ice wells, cups, lids, straws, takeaway carriers, and clean bar towels so baristas never have to pause a pour. Dish & Tool Sanitation: Rapidly wash, sanitize, and dry shaker tins, blenders, measuring tools, and glassware adhering to strict food safety guidelines. Waste & Spill Management: Monitor and empty floor bins, handle sweeping and mopping, and address spills instantly to prevent slip hazards. Restock & Delivery Check-in: Assist with receiving inventory shipments, rotating stock (FIFO), and refilling front-of-house condiment and retail shelves. | Minimum Qualifications for Hotel Workers KCSE certificate or equivalent secondary education.
